Furnace Repair Services in Mokena, IL

The draft inducer is a small motorized fan that turns on before the burners ignite. Its purpose is to pull combustion air through the heat exchanger and expel toxic exhaust gases safely out the flue vent. A pressure switch verifies that this draft is established; if the inducer motor fails or the vent is blocked, the furnace will lock out as a safety precaution.

However, if your unit has a compromised heat exchanger or requires chronic seasonal fixes, our Mokena, Illinois team will provide an unbiased, pressure-free evaluation of your options.
